This retreat is not only a special journey to the ancient temples of Egypt, but above all a profound inner journey of discovery. For the temple visits you sometimes receive individually, but sometimes also as a group specific rituals and assignments to perform. - Medinet Habu: letting go of old patterns and welcoming new energy.
- Temple of Thoth (Hermopolis): Setting intentions for clarity and wisdom.
October 9 (Thursday)
- Journey to Abydos via Luxor Temple: activation of inner enlightenment.
Abydos
October 10-11-12 (Friday – Sunday)
- Seti I Temple: Two full days of deep spiritual connection, soul work and personal assignments in this powerful temple. You will work intensively on soul healing, transformation and activating your inner light.
Aswan
October 12 (Sunday)
- Travel to Aswan after morning meditation in the temple and breakfast, evening free time and visit Souk.
October 13 (Monday)
- Khnum Temple (Esna): activation of your creative power.
- Isis Temple (Philae): healing, compassion and self-love. Activation of your feminine energy.
October 14 (Tuesday)
- Horus Temple (Edfu): activating your masculine energy
- Travel back to Luxor.

- Full day of ceremonial and energetic work in Karnak Temple: integration and anchoring of gained insights and transformation.
- Evening: Closing with a joint dinner, reflection and integration ritual.

What is included in the LuMens Retreat Trip?
- All hotels: Overnight stays in Luxor, Aswan and Abydos. You will sleep in a double room with someone of the same sex or with your partner.
- A full program: You will receive a complete 9-day retreat program through the mystical temple sites in Egypt with 10 overnight stays.
- Transport: IIncludes transportation to and from the airport for the recommended flight, and all transportation between locations.
- Meals:
- In Luxor and Aswan: Breakfast and dinner. During the day we provide water, fruits and snacks.
- In Abydos: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
- Entrance tickets: For all the temples we visit.
- Accompaniment: powerful, transformative guidance throughout the process, including reflections, activations, meditations, temple assignments and other supportive methods.
- An online introductory meeting: We will meet online with the group at the end of April to get to know each other and open the process.

Lead Facilitator - Brian van Leeuwen
Brian's path has been shaped by years of intense inner journeys and trainings, embracing and healing his own shadows and challenges. He has undergone and guided hundreds of sessions, and his work with the mysteries of life and the soul is deeply rooted in both ancient wisdom and modern spirituality. His connection to ancient Egypt, and in particular his initiation into the light of Amun-Ra, is an important pillar in his work, which is palpable in his retreats and workshops.
Brian's mission is to put people back on their path and help them remember the light within themselves. He stands for transformation on all levels: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Whether it is personal sessions, in-depth group retreats in Egypt, or his Mystery School, Brian stands beside people as a guide, mirror and source of inspiration on their journey to a life of clarity, connection and fulfillment.
He believes that every person possesses deep inner strength and works from the vision that life is a journey to fully remember and embody who we really are.
Facilitator Assistant - Esther Geskus
Esther is a passionate facilitator, coach and trainer who guides people in connecting with their authentic core, body, emotions and life energy. With a deep love for holistic transformation work and a passion for tantra, Esther creates safe and powerful spaces in which participants can experience their “spark” again.
Her own journey of self-love and consciousness expansion has inspired her to integrate transformational work on all levels: physical, mental, emotional, energetic and spiritual. This work focuses on releasing traumas and blockages, allowing people to feel freer and happier. Tantra plays a central role in this. For Esther, tantra means not only liberation and expansion, but also embodied spirituality – a deep connection with the body, emotions and the flow of life energy.
Her mission is to support people in regaining their balance, life energy and self-love, so that they can embrace life with self-confidence, strength and joy and inspire others.
Ferdinand van der Neut - Host and Participant
Ferdinand is co-initiator of this journey to ancient Egypt and travels as a participant in this field of memory. His love for the mystical layers of life, the heart of man and the greater story of the soul brought him into connection with this special place and this journey. What started as a personal wish to visit the holy temples, grew into a joint movement that is now becoming reality.
In daily life, Ferdinand is known as the voice behind the podcast TijdBoek LuMens, in which he conducts conversations about spirituality, consciousness and the inner journey with openness, curiosity and depth. His interviews touch, open and invite reflection. With his platform, he creates a space in which the mystery of life can become tangible, without having to prove or explain, but simply to feel and recognize.
In addition, Ferdinand facilitates the Yeshua King's Course, a journey in which participants are invited to remember, heal and gently empower their masculine essence. His work is borne, sensitive and rooted in a deep love for truth. As a participant in this journey, he brings his open heart, his presence and his dedication to the path of remembrance, not as a guide, but as a fellow traveler in the Light.
