This is why you should always start with yourself.
Love yourself. Do whatever it takes to be completely in love with yourself without it becoming conceited. Create a pure bond of love with yourself and from there you can work on relationships with others. Start a beautiful relationship with yourself first, before you start one with someone else. Saturate yourself with so much love that the other is only an addition to your love happiness.
You should not be dependent on the love of another. You only do yourself a disservice. If that relationship ends, you do not have a loving background. That is often accompanied by fear and much sadness. That is why it also applies here: be loving to yourself and to others.
From a source of self-love you can give so much more to others.
Then you can release each other from love and seek each other out from love. Then there is no room for jealousy and fear. There is only room for love.
I can tell you from my own experience that it works like this. I always looked for love and happiness in external factors. If those disappeared, I was back to being myself. Then there was only room for sadness and fear until I found another external factor from which I could get love and happiness.
That went on for a long time. Until there was a moment when I decided that it was enough fun. I decided to put myself first. My happiness was allowed to be there. I was allowed to drown myself in love. And from there I can be there for others. I can guide others with love from my work. I can be there for friends with love. I can decide with love what I do and do not want to do in life.
That's why I really want to impress upon you that (self)love is one of the most important factors, if not the most important, on our planet. It is a universal driving force.
Everything comes from love and from there everything really unfolds. From here all other beautiful things come.
Together we create heaven on earth,
Love,
Brian
