An ode to Gaia <3
Our mother. Mother Earth. The planet we are allowed to live on in this beautiful universe. The planet we are so connected to, but at the same time so far away from, because we have lost contact. The planet that is slowly starting to look more and more like a production machine. Producing, producing and producing again. It fits in nicely with the system I mentioned yesterday. Also the
producing is part of the control system we live in. Entire forests are being cut down. Animals are being killed in a gruesome way. Nature is being destroyed by humanity bit by bit. If we continue like this, we will soon have no mother. Fortunately, it is not too late.
It is not too late to create respect for our planet again. It is not too late to start living in love and connection with Gaia again. More and more people are realizing that things cannot continue like this. More and more people are awakening and starting to live from love and connection again, from love and connection for each other and with nature. When you treat mother earth with respect and love, you get all of her beauty back. You start to see how everything lives. How all the trees are connected to each other. How the trees are full of life. How the different plants and animals work together. How you can also live without eating meat. There are so many substitutes, even for a fanatic athlete like me. How the light patterns dance across the water. How the nature beings move through the forests. How the sunbeams glide over the hills and the waves caress your feet. How life according to the moon cycle is much more natural than our current calendar. How you can tune into the energy of places of power, nature beings, the landscape and Gaia herself. So powerful. So much love. So much beauty.
Gaia gives us so much. Let's give her something back! Let's give her the love, attention and respect she deserves. Let's reconnect with nature. Let's reconnect with everything that lives on this beautiful planet. And not just with what you can see, but also with what you can't see.
